# Posting Freezes Accounts Resolved From Current Configuration

## Context

The accepted architecture moves financial account selection from document issue to posting. This record carries that decision forward without reopening it.

## Decision

Posting reads the current product setup and unit defaults and freezes the resolved accounts, leaving posted values unchanged by later configuration edits.

## Alternatives Considered

Freeze account assignments when a document is issued. The posting-time ruling supersedes this and permits incomplete setup before posting.

## Consequences

Posting owns preservation and its proof. The console's regenerated share keys create a separate reconciliation concern across edits.
