# Checkout Policy view

## What the Screen Is For

Inspect a checkout policy, its processing choices and the records that retain it.

## What It Shows and Lets People Do

Named Accounting references accompany grouped settings and Used By information. Update authority enables editing, activity changes and Make Default; deletion uses its separate grant. This view has no duplicate button.

## States and Errors

Activity changes run immediately. Default transfer and deletion use dialogs. Default or retained references can cause service refusal, and inactive policies cannot be selected as the workspace default.

## Patterns It Must Respect

The Standard page groups values through SectionPanel and uses dedicated default-transfer and deletion dialogs.
