# Checkout Policy defaults

## What the Screen Is For

Select fallback checkout policies for the workspace and applications.

## What It Shows and Lets People Do

A single form presents the workspace selection and application rows. Saving replaces the application map; omitted entries lose their override and use the workspace fallback.

## States and Errors

The selector offers active policies. Read-only callers can inspect the document but cannot submit it. A refused save preserves the previous selections and shows the error.

## Patterns It Must Respect

The Standard form uses SectionPanel, IdSelect, Table and EditorActionBar rather than a configurable layout.
