# Commit physical departure through one local handoff transaction

## Context

Physical departure changes stock, order shipping progress and delivery completion at the same moment.

## Decision

Coordinate handoff through one transaction, calling the selected stock, register and cost providers.

## Alternatives Considered

Reduce physical stock during picking or packing. Picking and packing occur before goods leave and before cancellation closes.

Complete delivery separately after handoff commits. Later delivery completion would permit a committed shipment to remain owed.

Block departure while cost relief is missing. The selected provider can allow missing cost relief; the design must retain that qualified behavior.

## Consequences

Cost-provider behavior qualifies the guarantee. The handoff does not check complete coverage of allocation units by obligations.
