# Offer pickup without shipping charge and record counter collection

## Context

Customer collection requires a physical departure record without carrier preparation.

## Decision

Offer zero-charge pickup with a collection place and use the shared handover transaction at the counter.

## Alternatives Considered

Model pickup as a manual carrier shipment. A collection would acquire unnecessary carrier labels, manifestation and tracking.

Record delivery only on the order without stock handover. An order-only flag would omit the shared stock and delivery transaction.

## Consequences

Pickup retains stock and delivery effects while bypassing label and manifest work. Collection records the named collector.
