# Suppress Meeting E-mail Until the Later Delivery Phase

## Context

The service currently prepares calls, publication notices, reminders and minutes notices whenever communications is ready. That implementation does not override the product decision to suppress them.

## Decision

The recorded product decision disables meeting e-mail for the deferred milestone and brings it back with the portal or notification infrastructure behind a switch that defaults off.

## Alternatives Considered

Keep lifecycle notices while suppressing reminders. The recorded answer suppresses all meeting e-mail.

Retain the existing unrestricted notice path. It conflicts with the same explicit suppression decision.

## Consequences

Preparation needs a default-off notice switch before communications-enabled use follows the recorded policy. The equivalent policy for decisions, disclosures, openings and nominations remains undecided.
