# Activities, Follow-ups and Task Work

## Purpose

Staff retain interaction context and manage the work that follows it. Record timelines bring those interactions and tasks together, while workspace views support broader discovery. Services can delegate work through the task contract without duplicating creation.

## Boundary

CRM owns interaction and task records, their local relationships, configuration and read surfaces. Record ownership and merge execution remain with the neighboring CRM modules. Platform supplies security, queries, file management, workspace lifecycle, data jobs, workflow execution and attention delivery. The hosted record tabs present this module’s information within contact and organization screens.

## Features

| Feature | Name | Active Concepts | Capabilities | Journeys |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| `FEAT-CRM-ACT-01` | Interaction Records and Timelines | 2 | 7 | 1 |
| `FEAT-CRM-ACT-02` | Activity Classification | 0 | 2 | 1 |
| `FEAT-CRM-ACT-03` | Managing Task Work | 1 | 6 | 1 |
| `FEAT-CRM-ACT-04` | Task Configuration and Routing | 0 | 1 | 1 |
| `FEAT-CRM-ACT-05` | Workflow Delegation and Record Safeguards | 0 | 3 | 2 |

Classification and queue routing are facets of the active Activity and Task concepts. Their earlier concept entries remain superseded for reference continuity.
