# Activity types configuration

## What the Screen Is For

Administrators use this resource to shape interaction entry. Categories carry the form settings and result choices consumed by the logging sheet.

## What It Shows and Lets People Do

The list and record form expose category appearance, default values and field settings. Saves carry the read version, and dragging uses one complete-order request. Availability changes retire choices without rewriting existing interactions. Deletion asks for confirmation; baseline types and referenced configuration remain protected.

## States and Errors

Authority determines which editing controls are available. Write and version refusals are displayed through the shared resource. The console’s duration and suggested follow-up limits remain narrower than service limits.

## Patterns It Must Respect

The resource uses the shared configuration catalog and record form with atomic ordering. Baseline badges and guarded deletion identify service-protected categories. These observed controls do not establish a separate product approval.
