# Merge Details

## What the Screen Is For

Management details make a combination inspectable after its original participants disappear. This page’s entry guard requires merge-read authority.

## What It Shows and Lets People Do

The component can request record-scoped details when given a record identity, but that request does not relax the enclosing page guard. Successful outcomes show retained and discarded values and applicable actions, with navigation to the survivor and the explanation that repair is manual.

## States and Errors

Failed attempts show their reason without a successful outcome. Queued and running attempts show status rather than a live stream of the durable job’s internal steps. The host continues polling unfinished attempts.

## Patterns It Must Respect

The mounted page uses MergeDetails and MergeOutcome with shared loading and error controls. Its imports do not establish use of a separate shared audit-difference framework.
