# Source custom fields do not extend this module’s objects

## Context

Query definitions and execution ledgers are distinct from customer-extensible business records.

## Decision

This module’s own objects have no custom-field capability, while dataset descriptions expose custom fields only for source objects registered with that capability.

## Alternatives Considered

Add custom fields to queries or reports: There is no product decision granting that entity capability.

## Consequences

These screens use their dedicated forms and components. A source object without the capability does not expose custom fields through its dataset description.
