Period Close Review ​

What the Screen Is For ​

A selected-month route lets reviewers inspect a particular calendar month instead of the current default. It shares the close workspace and can show both current readiness and retained closing evidence.

What It Shows and Lets People Do ​

The chosen year determines the business unit. Its readiness loads live, while a closed month’s record preserves the earlier calculation. Close is available only for an authorized current open month. Reopen targets the business unit’s latest eligible closed month, which can differ from the selected month.

States and Errors ​

The page rejects noninteger or nonpositive month numbers before rendering. It does not reject every out-of-range number locally; the live API validates the upper bound. An unknown year shows a notice, while an absent month can fail readiness loading. Closed-month live readiness can differ from its captured record.

Patterns It Must Respect ​

The selected-month page retains PageLayout, PageHeader, the inherited read-permission guard and CloseWorkspace components. It uses the same confirmation dialogs and evidence sections as the current-month page.
