Transactions Service Module
What This Service Is For
Transactions owns customer billing, collected money, credit, returns and receivable reporting. Its contract records the complete registered HTTP surface and the supporting asynchronous financial flows at the pinned versions.
Boundary
The owned objects define financial-document responsibility. Batch management handles posting, Books and Products supply configuration, and other product areas supply order and customer context. The current service-function surface includes transitional Billing operations beyond the target ownership boundary.
Operations in Words
Invoice operations prepare, issue, correct and deliver billing. Memo and write-off operations adjust existing debt. Payment, credit and refund operations record financial value and its use or return, while settlement, remittance and billing reversal coordinate component documents. Record-action reads expose current eligibility and execution rechecks the selected action’s authority. Customer and aging reads explain current and historical financial position.
Events and Jobs
Processor event handling and scheduled recovery resolve external outcomes. Financial facts enter shared change-event delivery, and durable snapshot execution produces historical aging versions. Every operation’s publication field records the absence of a declared Submissions intake contract; it does not claim approval of future publication policy. This module makes no observed model calls and declares no inference operations.
Consistency Guarantees
The structured consistency rows distinguish atomic financial work from external processing and eventual delivery. They preserve the exceptions for uncertain collection, retained cancellation preparation, unconfigured receivers and unproved chunk cleanup rather than treating all flows as a single transaction.
