Appoint a person or offer them a place

What It Does

This path establishes dated participation after checking the requested placement. It supports an immediate appointment or an offer, then computes the consequences appropriate to that result.

The Flow

When Something Fails

Refused transactional work leaves no appointment. Missing membership storage has a specific allowed fallback, and a crash after commit can leave the separately stored retry response unfinished.

Open Design Questions

Eligibility fallback, the authority release gate and retry completion recovery remain product or design questions.
