Protect portal access during contact merging

Context

Combining contact information must not silently combine access for different people.

Decision

The recorded portal policy permits one login to follow the survivor through Platform participation, but multiple logins or record grants require security resolution before merging.

Alternatives Considered

Move all participant logins. An incorrect merge could give separate people access to the combined record.

Detach all logins. An otherwise safe merge would interrupt the member’s access.

Consequences

The survivor recommendation favors the sole login-linked contact. CRM reads login signals; Platform owns relinking and its audit.
