Membership Structure Design Examination
Verdict for Andrew
The rewritten design is a faithful account of the examined implementation at the pinned commits within the registered source boundary, with unsupported guarantees identified as unknown. Its weakest areas are the missing setup screens, product-and-extension composition, external delivery guarantees and database enforcement that cannot be certified from the permitted declarations alone. Before implementation preparation, decide the status of planning approval, resolve the status-reason exceptions, and choose the administration and offering-completion approach while acknowledging the recorded source and operational coverage gaps.
Examination and Authority
This was an independent OpenAI examination of the Claude-authored draft. I checked every design artifact against the pinned sources and the planning layer, then wrote the final explanatory text, structured statements and diagrams. Verification changes were committed before the affected final rewrites; each artifact's rewrite has its own commit. Existing identities and recorded decision origins remain in place, and no planning artifact was changed.
The requested design brief was absent from both the starting corpus and fetched master. The supplied job brief and existing planning records therefore governed this pass. The planning records still declare draft status despite the job's description of approval; this examination does not grant approval or change proposed product intent into confirmation. Existing decisions were cited as origins, and alternatives without an explicit historical rejection were described as options rather than attributed decisions.
Counts and Coverage
| Examined surface | Coverage | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Design artifacts | 41: six objects, six state models, eight workflows, three service contracts and eighteen decisions | No screen or inference artifact was invented. |
| Object detail | 68 attributes, 24 relationships and 59 invariants | Declared database checks are distinguished from service checks; deployed migration SQL is outside the registered source scope. |
| State behavior | 25 state entries, 33 transitions and 13 invalid-transition rows | Standing is calculated, not a persisted transition graph; no examined writer produces the superseded term state. |
| Workflow detail | 51 anchored hops across eight workflows | External retry, transport and receiver behavior remains unknown where the local code does not establish it. |
| HTTP operations | 56 of 56 explicitly named business-route operations: 29 structure, 26 configuration and one terms | Three additional shared framework health routes have no contract entry; their generated identifiers and access are outside this source examination. |
| Internal interfaces | Nine additional contract entries: three structure and six terms | These are named functions or grouped interfaces, not additional HTTP operation declarations. |
| Tables | All 25 declared structure and configuration tables have a domain-object home: thirteen structure and twelve configuration | Membership holdings, term rows and sweep detections remain owned by the memberships module; the term engine computes their interpretation. |
| Screens | Zero module administration screens implemented; zero screen contracts | The member explorer and Commerce member-pricing settings do not implement this module's setup journeys. |
| State machines, schedules and queues | All six described state models and all eight workflows examined; nightly sweep, lifecycle, import and shared change-event dispatcher boundaries covered | No module-owned orchestration state machine was found. Shared framework implementation and remote consumers were not certified. |
| Model calls | No inference call found in the module implementations or examined workflow seams | All three service contracts and eight workflows retain empty inference lists; no inference operation is required at these commits. |
| Responsibilities | The module row checked against object ownership and service contracts; its prose rewritten | Other module rows and planning boundaries were not changed. |
I opened the referenced source files at the pinned revisions and checked the 182 structured source and hop-anchor occurrences, representing 121 distinct reference strings. Multi-source entries were checked as separate references. Test anchors were compared with their test titles; source existence and claim support were checked separately. This source review is not a claim that the backend suites or deployed database triggers were executed.
The route comparison included generated configuration names, exact access declarations, permission keys and planning capability references. The custom-field check used object registration, and only organizational units opt in. Submissions publication remains absent in the examined declarations; the external architectural standard is cited indirectly through the available product records. The console examination checked implemented routes and components, planned navigation, permission gates and the Commerce adapter used by pricing settings.
Changes by Artifact
Every row below includes a complete OpenAI rewrite of the artifact's explanatory prose and human-readable structured text. Unchanged identifiers, permissions, provenance and decision origins were retained except for the verified metadata corrections listed later.

WF-MBR-STR-006 | Separated local sweep execution from unknown scheduler retries; described conditional event-handler registration and unverified receiver effects. |
WF-MBR-STR-007 | Corrected locally synchronous lifecycle calls, ancestry-first deletion and separate guard/batch transactions; left Platform transport and run serialization unknown. |
WF-MBR-STR-008 | Checked import declarations, dependencies, per-item failures, caller-owned closing rebuild and lack of an implemented crosswalk source. |
RESP-MBR, structure module row | Checked ownership and exposed operations against the contracts; rewrote delegation and boundary explanations without changing other modules. |
Verified Metadata Corrections
The frontmatter compares each changed evidence-bearing field with its starting value, including unknown provenance where the implementation cannot establish the claimed guarantee. Other corrections affect descriptive claims, state destinations, diagrams, reason guards, calculation scope, identities and registered change-event stream names; all are explained in the artifact ledger above. Identifiers, permission keys, enforcement-location arrays, source pins, design-intent values and implementation-evidence values were preserved.
The configuration contract's single invented collective event name was replaced by the five actual registered record-change stream names. The term correction transition now remains committed; recognition of a superseded state does not prove an implemented transition into it. Source paths were corrected where necessary, and prose annotations were removed from a deletion symbol anchor. No new artifact kind, screen, model operation or product approval was added.
Findings and Decisions Still Open
| Finding | Remaining issue |
|---|---|
FND-MBR-STR-049 | The original design brief cannot be checked because it is absent. |
FND-MBR-STR-050 | Staff and Commerce reason exceptions conflict with the planning rule; Product must decide the intended contract. |
FND-MBR-STR-051 | Telemetry exception behavior, retry bounds, schedule redelivery, Platform transport and serialization, and remote appointment effects are unproved. |
FND-MBR-STR-052 | Planning approval asserted by the brief disagrees with the recorded draft statuses. |
FND-MBR-STR-053 | Three shared health-route declarations remain outside operation contract coverage. |
FND-MBR-STR-038, FND-MBR-STR-039 | Migration SQL and external architecture records are unavailable within the registered reading boundary. |
FND-MBR-STR-040, OQ-MBR-STR-009 | A product transaction port exists, but no examined caller composes it with extension creation; an orphan-prevention approach remains to be chosen. |
FND-MBR-STR-046, OQ-MBR-STR-008 | Setup journeys have no implemented console administration screens. |
FND-MBR-STR-048 | The import caller must perform the closing ancestry rebuild; failed or abandoned loads do not repair themselves. |
The prior findings and open questions remain unresolved unless their descriptions were corrected by this examination. In particular, the planning rule was not silently widened to accommodate cancellation behavior. Configuration and product atomicity, source access and cross-application completion remain explicit limitations rather than implementation promises.
Validation and Landing
The required dependency installation and corpus check passed with zero conformance errors. All four documentation tooling tests passed, with zero failures, skips or cancellations. No service migration, shared environment, deployment or reader projection was changed. The work is committed on the task branch in the required worktree and has not been pushed; examination status does not imply Andrew's approval.
