Reading The Selected Records ​

Purpose and Behavior ​

The dialog reads pages sequentially, removes duplicate identifiers and reports collection progress. It limits collection to 10,000 records and also bounds page traversal. Cancel stops collection; Try again starts a fresh read after failure. Once collected, the identifiers are handed to the dialog or wizard for the chosen action.

States and Refusals ​

A failed page produces an error with retry. Collected identifiers become fixed input after collection, but separate page reads do not establish a common point-in-time snapshot of the query results.

Console Patterns ​

The implementation uses the shared dialog header band, progress bar and error alert.
