The Lifecycle
The diagram summarizes the observed transition rows; declared edges without an observed writer remain outside the operational graph.
Transitions Explained
Provisioning and activation have observed job transitions. Suspended and retired are declared values honored by reads, while their administration and purge-state transitions remain findings rather than invented operations.
Recovery of failed provisioning is restricted to empty pools. A populated failed pool requires an operator decision.
What Cannot Happen
Onboarding does not rebuild an active pool; it returns the already-onboarded state.
Concurrency and Timing
A unique index limits each workspace to one open onboarding. Concurrent submissions resolve to the existing open work. Purge removes pool infrastructure before Security removes its registry entry. Declared suspension and retirement are reader-supported states without a proved writer path.
