Maintain the site's shared presentation settings
Purpose
Publishers need a clear place to choose defaults that apply across the site's content.
How It Works
Staff open Site Settings to review shared choices and site identity. Name, addresses, status and followed-template details provide context without becoming editable settings here. A publisher selects the home page and default menus. Search presentation and visitor messages can be adjusted alongside those choices. Saving publishes the settings immediately. Editors who cannot publish can inspect them but cannot save changes. Foreign content references and invalid mapping values are rejected. Rollback-authorized administrators can continue to Releases from this screen. An unset home-page selection currently needs clearer presentation.
Relationships
Pages and menus supply the selected records. Site identity supplies the inspection facts, and release management provides rollback.
