MOD-ACC-BKS
Books, Business Units and Chart of Accounts
Finance staff establish and maintain the configuration used by Accounting’s financial workflows. Separate business units bring together calendars, financial destinations, currencies and policy, while shared workspace definitions and templates support work across those units. Accounting also supplies scheduling and its part of Platform’s data lifecycle.
Features 6
A feature names and groups its key concepts, capabilities, journeys and acceptance test sets, and its acceptance suite when one is written. Open a feature to read them.
- FEAT-ACC-BKS-01Business Units and Currency PolicyThis feature groups the unit and currency choices that establish separate books. It brings together founding setup, accounting policy and dated exchange-rate work.
- FEAT-ACC-BKS-02Accounts and Reporting DestinationsThis feature groups the chart, posting defaults, receiving accounts and reporting dimensions. It gives finance staff a shared place to reason about financial destinations.
- FEAT-ACC-BKS-03Calendar CoverageThis feature groups generation, maintenance and lookup of accounting periods. It connects calendar setup with the financial work that needs coverage.
- FEAT-ACC-BKS-04Shared Terms, Receipt Methods and Tax MappingThis feature groups workspace payment definitions and transitional tax configuration. Accounting’s payable mapping remains part of its financial responsibility during the Commerce transfer.
