MOD-COM-CAT Catalog and Selling Configuration
Markdown Planning / Commerce / Catalog and Selling Configuration / Module Charter Catalog and Selling Configuration Purpose Staff prepare the offering and financial context Commerce needs to sell products. The module connects catalog presentation, pricing, campaigns and suggestions around products owned by Accounting. Its proposed contracts distinguish implemented behaviour from decision-backed product intent.
Boundary Commerce owns selling configuration and assessment in this layer. Accounting retains products and financial transactions; orders retains checkouts, placed sales and grants; fulfilment retains physical stock and delivery. Eligibility and application providers supply qualification and item-specific answers. Hosted configuration screens belong here because they administer these records.
