Obtain a complete audience count in the background
Purpose
Staff request a full calculation without keeping an interactive preview request open.
How It Works
After a capped preview, the coordinator requests Count Everyone. The start request records an evaluation and submits a durable job under the requesting person's identity. The console polls that evaluation while work runs. The task loads the audience definition available at execution and calculates without the preview people cap. Record ceilings still apply, and a final refusal marks both evaluation and job failed. Temporary faults remain eligible for retry. Submission failures attempt to settle their evaluations before returning the start error. Infrastructure declares scheduled recovery for executions that stop reporting; its full recovery behavior remains unproven in the pinned suites. Redelivery after settlement preserves the existing result. Changes between submission and execution, including parameter changes, remain an unresolved product concern.
Relationships
- Preview offers the count after interactive truncation.
- Person-based evaluation preserves the requester's query authority.
- Parameter handling retains job values and records the fixed-value failure.
