Bulk Actions On Record Lists ​

Purpose and Behavior ​

The selection bar offers updates, deletion and supported status changes based on the record category, selection size and bulk permission. It does not independently check update or delete permissions. Small selections open dialogs; updates above 500 records go to the wizard, while deletion above that limit is disabled. Organization explorer updates go directly to the wizard. Selecting every saved-query match first collects the identifiers.

States and Refusals ​

No bulk permission hides the controls. An empty selection or unsupported size disables the relevant action with a reason. Backend authorization can still refuse an action shown by the menu. Phone and address type lists offer deletion without status actions.

Console Patterns ​

The dropdown belongs to the host’s existing selection bar. Record explorers, saved-query results and configuration lists provide the host selection and refresh behavior.
