Mass Update Dialog ​

Purpose and Behavior ​

The field editor uses record metadata and shared value inputs, including eligible custom fields. Configuration status actions provide a fixed change. Validation submits a job and displays its impact. Apply approves that preview; the results summarize changes, unchanged records, conflicts and refusals. Conflicting records can be revalidated. Open job navigates to the full detail. Closing the dialog does not cancel submitted work.

States and Refusals ​

Validation and application show loading panels. Refusals retain an explanation, and stale approvals require another validation. The results panel remains readable after execution. Service permission checks remain authoritative even when the hosting menu offered the action.

The dialog uses the shared header band, field editor and validation, preview, execution and results panels.
