Business units configuration
What the Screen Is For
Maintain each set of books, including founding choices, enabled currencies, accounting policies and document selections.
What It Shows and Lets People Do
The list opens a full-page editor. Creation includes an availability checkbox and therefore can create an inactive unit. Authorized staff can save replacements, change availability or delete an eligible unit. Currency setup and document choices appear in their own sections. Default-purpose assignment is handled on the chart screen. The editor has no tender-fee or direct write-off treatment controls.
States and Errors
The shared list initially offers active records; staff can change the availability filter to see inactive ones. Write controls follow the action permissions. The founding base currency and fiscal month become disabled after creation. Turning multicurrency off asks for confirmation only when there are supported currencies to clear. Service refusals remain visible for dependent currencies, deletion dependencies, accounting-method checks and stale replacements.
Patterns It Must Respect
Shared configuration list with search, sorting, availability filtering and an empty state. Permission-gated bulk activation, deactivation and deletion. Deletion confirmation; availability changes are immediate. Editor unsaved-changes protection. Accounting read loading and error panels. Standard-width page editor divided into currencies, accounting and documents.
