Transactions
Purpose
Transactions connects customer billing with the receipts, credit and adjustments that explain a customer’s financial position. Staff use the console and API, while Commerce requests supported work through service interfaces. The planning artifacts distinguish implemented behavior, recorded product decisions and unresolved recommendations.
Boundary
The module owns billing and money-movement records, customer collection terms and historical receivables snapshots. Batch management owns posting; Books supplies accounting configuration; Products supplies product accounting setup; Close owns fiscal periods; Reconciliation owns payouts. Billing owns billing schedules and plans, Commerce owns orders and the intended tax determination, and CRM owns customer identities. Platform supplies access control, querying, processor integration, communications and durable execution.
