Evaluate Decisions From Opening Snapshots
Context
Voting can span roster or bylaw changes. A stable snapshot lets members understand the basis actually used for their motion.
Decision
Opening captures the effective rules or implemented defaults, threshold, seats, dated voters and meeting attendance, and deterministic evaluation uses those saved facts to explain the result.
Alternatives Considered
Read the current rules and roster again when closing. An intervening change would alter voter eligibility or the required support during the vote.
Keep only the final outcome. Members could not check the arithmetic or governing basis.
Consequences
Later roster or rule edits do not replace the opening snapshot used for evaluation. An empty rule document currently invokes defaults, a behavior Product has not confirmed.
