Transactions planning examination
Scope and method
Codex examined the draft at the two pinned repository revisions, reading registered module paths and the records cited by the artifacts. The examination checked cited files, symbols and test titles; inspected route contracts, service commands, persistence protection, console surfaces and product authority; and compared the operation, persistence, permission and execution inventories with the capability index. Source inspection establishes implementation evidence, not Andrew’s approval.
The examination rewrites the reader-facing descriptions in the module, six features, six concepts, twenty capabilities, six journeys, twenty acceptance sets, findings, questions, identifier register and the six transaction actor rows. Each planning artifact has its own OpenAI rewrite commit, separate from the preceding verification corrections; later evidence corrections have additional verification commits. Five broad concepts remain active; the adjustment concept retains its permanent identity as superseded. Titles that remain the same are short product names independently retained during the rewrite. Evidence references, identifiers and technical inventory names retain their structural function.
Counts examined
| Item | Count |
|---|---|
| Existing module files, excluding this report | 61 |
| Features | 6 |
| Concept records / active concepts | 6 / 5 |
| Capabilities | 20 |
| Rule rows after corrections | 207 |
| Must-prove rule rows | 183 |
| Journeys | 6 |
| Acceptance sets / scenarios | 20 / 175 |
| Scenarios with bindings / proposed without bindings | 168 / 7 |
| Findings / open questions | 40 / 4 |
| Module-added actor rows | 6 |
All must-prove rules are named by acceptance scenarios. This is structural coverage: several compound rules have broader scope than their selected test assertions, recorded in FND-ACC-TRX-036. The report does not treat a matching test title as complete proof of every refusal, variant or side effect.
Coverage at the pinned revisions
“Covered” means mapped to a capability or explicit finding, not independently executed or fully asserted. The module frontmatter retains the detailed operation, table and test-file mappings.
| Inventory | Covered / total | Home | Uncovered by name |
|---|---|---|---|
| HTTP operations, including factory expansion | 111 / 111 | MODULE operation catalogue; 20 capabilities | None in the inventory |
| Concrete / factory-generated operations | 86 / 25 | Route declarations and memo/document-edit factories | None in the inventory |
| Table files | 36 / 36 | Capability evidence | None in the inventory |
| View files | 5 / 5 | Capability evidence, including plural transaction-kind views | None in the inventory |
| Permission keys | 90 / 90 | Capabilities and FND-ACC-TRX-025 | 27 have no route or dataset enforcement; finding names the groups |
| Service test files | 153 / 153 | MODULE test catalogue | None unindexed; assertion gaps remain |
| End-to-end service files | 20 / 20 | MODULE test catalogue | None unindexed |
| Integration / unit files | 111 / 22 | MODULE test catalogue | None unindexed |
| Console pages | 29 / 29 | Hosted screens and capability evidence | No unindexed page; absent controls and lists are findings |
| Service functions | 5 / 5 | CAP-ACC-TRX-020 | None in the inventory |
| State machines | 1 / 1 | CAP-ACC-TRX-018 | None in the inventory |
| Schedules | 3 / 3 | CAP-ACC-TRX-007, 009, 012, 018 | None in the inventory |
| Module-owned queues | 0 / 0 | Shared service change delivery: CAP-ACC-TRX-020 | Not applicable |
| Must-prove rule references | 183 / 183 | Acceptance sets | No missing reference; complete binding proof remains open |
| Invoice browser journeys with specifications | 21 / 47 | FND-ACC-TRX-028 | Remaining source-inventory journeys lack browser specifications |
| Payment browser journeys with specifications | 34 / 63 | FND-ACC-TRX-028 | Remaining source-inventory journeys lack browser specifications |
Verification corrections
| Artifact or row | Correction |
|---|---|
| All six concepts, six features and six journeys; twenty capabilities | Containing intent is proposed where mixed implementation and recommendations cannot establish artifact-wide approval. Genuine approved rule origins remain distinct. |
| Payment and reversible-build origins across capabilities | Unsupported recommendation origins become none. Authority notes point to FND-ACC-TRX-035. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-001, rule 10 | Ordinary issued-line protection permits the supported amendment path; it does not prohibit every eligible correction. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-001, new rules 15 and 16 | Add configured service-period requirements at issue and stored-or-inverse dated exchange-rate selection. |
| ATS-ACC-TRX-001, new scenarios 15 and 16 | Add proposed issue-period and exchange-rate proof, with no invented bindings. |
| ATS-ACC-TRX-001, scenario 10 | Add existing tax-class and line-deletion tests to match the stated protection checks. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-006, rule 02 | The reference requirement applies to direct configured-method receipts outside import; compatibility paths differ. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-007 | Replace the invented composite intent anchor with the existing work-package label. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-009, rule 12 | Console split calculation and review validation are observed; the note explains the component behavior. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-019, rule 03 | Empty allow-lists normalize to unrestricted choices; the schema limits unique choices to fifty. Direct table constraints differ from service normalization. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-019, rule 07 | Explain the inference from the absent scoped terms editor rather than claiming implemented console enforcement. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-019, new rule 08; ATS-ACC-TRX-019, new scenario 07 | Add terms protection and bind full-lock replacement/deletion proof to existing tests. Delete-only variants remain a broader proof concern. |
| ATS-ACC-TRX-019, scenario 03 | Remove a direct-database empty-list test from a scenario framed as service validation; narrow the scenario to the retained assertions. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-020, rule 05 | Clarify that concurrent issue need not return the same reply even though it produces one financial effect. This correction is included in the capability rewrite commit. |
| CAP-ACC-TRX-020, rule 07 | Distinguish configured receiver retries from log-and-acknowledge behavior when no receiver is configured. |
| Scheduled-rule enforcement rows | Replace unsupported job enforcement labels with service enforcement. |
| CON-ACC-TRX-001 and 002; linked capability concept references | Fold adjustment facets into Invoice; preserve the former concept as superseded. The adjustment feature retains its historical concept pointer for identifier resolution. |
| CON-ACC-TRX-006; MODULE summary | Replace universal numbering and batching claims with kind- and stage-sensitive descriptions, including drafts, quotations and coordination records. |
| JNY-ACC-TRX-001 | Remove the unsupported stale-save reload interaction. |
| JNY-ACC-TRX-003 | Cite the service replay test for lost-answer recovery rather than claiming browser proof in development. |
| JNY-ACC-TRX-005 | Preview rolls back financial records but can consume numbers; cite the preview command. |
| ACT-ACC-012 through 017 | Independently rewrite each transaction actor’s purpose and responsibilities. |
| Shared actor references throughout module | Replace product-catalogue administrator/reader references with the existing books administrator and finance reviewer; do not renumber actors. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-007, 018 and 034; OQ-ACC-TRX-004 | Remove approval overclaims; distinguish workspace refund configuration from a proposed business-unit policy and ask Andrew to record decisions individually. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-035 through 040 | Add authority, compound-proof, missing-rule, concept-grain, coverage-count and actor-allocation findings. |
| ID_REGISTRY | Allocate new findings, issue rules and scenarios, and terms lock rule/scenario; correct the actor range without changing identities. |
| MODULE | Recount concrete routes plus factory expansion, update rule totals and regenerate navigation summaries from final artifacts. |
| MOD-ACC-TRX registry row | Mark planning examined; other module rows remain untouched. |

Disagreements remaining open
The following findings remain available for Andrew’s review. Corrected inventory defects are distinguished from unresolved behavior and authority; an examination does not approve the underlying product choices.
| Finding | Disposition |
|---|---|
| FND-ACC-TRX-001 | Description or inventory corrected; retained for traceability. The source registry initially omits cited milestone, API, snapshot and debt records. Its console scope also includes list pages that redirect to the shared transaction list. The examination records these distinctions. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-002 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The payments milestone describes implementation based on recommendations while the plan and milestone index still show approval outstanding. Those records do not establish Andrew’s approval of the implemented choices. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-003 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The posting milestone concerns batch management. Its guidance on partially recognized invoice lines belongs to posting rather than a separate transaction outcome. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-004 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The realignment assigns tax determination to Commerce, but Accounting still calculates tax when staff issue invoices and exposes a tax calculation service. The determination path for staff billing without an order remains unresolved. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-005 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The realignment calls for collection holds on payment-plan receivables. The pinned implementation contains no corresponding operation or customer-summary treatment. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-006 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. A lost dispute reverses the entire payment even when the disputed amount is smaller. The proposed partial-chargeback behavior cannot be represented by the existing whole-payment reversal model. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-007 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The payments plan recommends refund approval by business unit, but the service reads a workspace setting and the console offers no control for it. The approval scope and configuration screen need a product decision. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-008 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The recorded write-off approval policy is deferred. The implementation permits a caller with creation permission to write off a balance without a second approver. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-009 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The remittance records describe competing directions: an interim receipt split into member payments and a future receipt spanning customers. The current service supports the former without a staff console workflow. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-010 | Description or inventory corrected; retained for traceability. The old acceptance inventory omits the customer guard on direct credit applications. The pinned command checks customer ownership, so the inventory no longer describes that behavior. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-011 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The transaction suites do not independently prove the refusal to void an invoice in a posted batch. The decision cites evidence owned by batch posting. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-012 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The tax record leaves the memo rounding choice awaiting Andrew’s decision, although the implementation already apportions credit tax and adds debit tax. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-013 | Description or inventory corrected; retained for traceability. The old inventory describes a paid-money choice that the memo editor no longer presents. The recorded invoice milestone removes that choice. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-014 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The memo edit pages require draft records although the implemented memo lifecycle creates issued records directly. Those pages do not match the supported lifecycle. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-015 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. Invoice rendering and email delivery exist in the service, but the registered staff console pages expose no corresponding controls. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-016 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The gateway replaces native processor collection, but legacy Stripe settings and the public webhook remain exposed. The development webhook reports that Stripe is unconfigured. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-017 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The development processor retains charge information within one process. Browser evidence cannot establish recovery across processes; the service integration suites provide the available recovery proof. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-018 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The implementation stores card-fee configuration on the business unit. Earlier records also allow a merchant-account location, and the payments record’s as-built wording does not resolve Product authority. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-019 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The settlement command checks customer ownership for invoices and credits. The module’s tests do not explicitly prove both cross-customer refusals. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-020 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. Credit application checks expiry, but no worker changes the credit to an expired status. An expired credit can therefore remain open and contribute to the customer summary’s available-credit figure. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-021 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. Document history is retained, but no transaction route exposes the events and the console history tabs do not load them. Several related record lists are also deferred. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-022 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The contact summary uses the contact’s own balances while payable-invoice discovery also includes its primary organization. These surfaces describe different sets of obligations. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-023 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. Accounting reads customer identity, affiliation, address and tax-exemption data from CRM tables directly. Those reads depend on schemas outside an explicit customer-data contract. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-024 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The pinned routes do not support staff reruns or backfills of aging snapshots. The cited debt record attributes the deferred routes to deployment-stack capacity. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-025 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. Twenty-seven published permission keys are not required by a registered route or dataset. Granting those keys alone does not authorize an implemented transaction operation. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-026 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The refund service sends free-text reasons as processor metadata despite the gateway’s stated restriction on personal data. The permitted external reason representation needs a decision. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-027 | Description or inventory corrected; retained for traceability. The acceptance inventory reflects older service behavior. Its statements about tax addresses, credit customer checks and memo paid-money choices conflict with the pinned implementation. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-028 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The source inventory contains more invoice and payment journeys than browser specifications. The milestone records defer lower-priority browser coverage, leaving those journeys without that level of proof. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-029 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. Configured receipt methods are implemented even though saved customer payment methods are deferred. Legacy method aliases remain accepted without a recorded removal date. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-030 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The service records a payment’s payer, but the console does not let staff enter or inspect it. The payments milestone defers that surface to the broader receipt model. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-031 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. When the financial-facts receiver is unconfigured, Accounting acknowledges the change event after logging it. That environment has no live Commerce delivery path. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-032 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The cited implementation records describe deployment-stack capacity as a constraint on additional transaction routes. New route work needs a capacity decision before delivery. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-033 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The console provides individual settlement and reversal records but lacks dedicated settlement, reversal and dispute lists. The milestone records defer those navigation surfaces. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-034 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. The architecture distinguishes reversible building choices from Andrew’s decisions. Only an explicit approving record can establish confirmed intent; the payments recommendations do not supply that authority. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-035 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. Payment-plan recommendations and reversible build choices do not establish Product approval; the examination marks the containing artifacts proposed and removes unsupported decision origins. Andrew must settle the remaining intent questions. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-036 | Open for decision or implementation/proof follow-up. Several compound acceptance scenarios cite tests for only part of their stated checks; a present test title establishes a binding location, not complete proof of every variant. The unasserted variants need explicit tests before approval. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-037 | Description or inventory corrected; retained for traceability. The draft omits the configured service-period requirement at issue, foreign-currency rate selection, and customer-terms locks; the examination adds these to their existing outcomes and proposes proof for the uncovered issue behavior. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-038 | Description or inventory corrected; retained for traceability. Invoice adjustment explains supporting documents and correction paths of the invoice; it does not need an independent broad concept. The examination folds its facets into Invoice and retains the former concept as superseded. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-039 | Description or inventory corrected; retained for traceability. The draft confuses literal declarations with expanded routes and counts five view files without explaining the plural view file. Coverage is an index of evidence locations, not proof that every behavior has an acceptance assertion. |
| FND-ACC-TRX-040 | Description or inventory corrected; retained for traceability. The draft reserves the wrong actor range and reuses product-catalogue identities for transaction administration and reading. The examination retains the added identities and points shared access roles to the existing books administrator and finance reviewer. |
Validation
The acceptance command npm ci && npm run check passes with zero conformance errors. npm test passes all four corpus-validator tests. No Accounting or console runtime suites were executed: this examination inspects their pinned assertions, so passing corpus validation is not a claim that those services have been retested. The final reference audit opens 194 distinct cited source files and checks 1,275 structured repository references; composite finding citations remain evidence lists rather than single-file anchors.
Verdict for Andrew
The layer is a sourced planning description of the pinned implementation, with the proven corrections incorporated and unresolved departures explicitly retained as findings rather than treated as approval. Its weakest area is the breadth of compound acceptance claims relative to their selected assertions, alongside missing authority for the payments recommendations. Before design begins, Andrew should record the outstanding intent decisions, settle tax and partial-chargeback ownership and behavior, and require explicit proof for the remaining rule variants.
