A board votes on motions that change its roster, and later rescinds one
Story
At the September meeting the secretary drafts a motion to appoint a new treasurer from 1 January. When it is moved she opens it; it becomes decision 2026-01 and the nine voting directors are fixed as its voters. She records the roll call, closes the motion and it carries six to one, with the arithmetic written out. The new treasurer’s appointment appears on the roster, naming the decision, and the register shows the meeting’s carried decisions. In the spring the board reverses itself: a rescission is drafted, carried, and the treasurer’s appointment ends as rescinded while the original decision stays on record, marked superseded.
